BOB ETHINGTON - DRUMS

Bob Ethington was drummer and songwriter for 70’s-80’s Akron new wave band Unit 5.  He later played occasional gigs with saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist Ralph Carney,  which led to Bob joining Tin Huey, and later Half Cleveland.  Other projects include Kinski Spiral, playing jazz with singer Tracey Thomas, the minimalist instrumental WATT,  and Chris Butler’s Pin 2 Hot.  

In addition to the Golems, Bob currently plays in the “indie dad rock band” Glenn Lazear, whose latest album Rest Land was released in 2022.
