HARVEY GOLD - GUITAR

A founding father of early New Wave pioneers, Tin Huey, described in The Village Voice as the band “...in search of the secrets of the whoopee cushion”, singer/songwriter Harvey Gold played guitar and keyboards, as he did in the Hueys offshoot, Half Cleveland. In addition to his solo album, It’s Messy Vol. 1, Gold has contributed to numerous projects, including a European tour playing bass with Americana artist Sally Spring as well as providing piano on her album, Made of Stars. Most recently, he participated in a collab with Lenny Kaye, James Mastro, Don Dixon and Chris Butler in an historic Nuggets anniversary concert in Cleveland.

Fond of both calves’ AND chicken livers, Gold is, indeed, the one member of Golems of the Red Planet who had a proper Bar Mitzvah!
